TEENS AND YOUTHS: Remember the Lord in the days of your Youth. 2 Timothy 3:14-15, ‘3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:22-26, ‘2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging Timothy truth;2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
1Timothy4:11-12, ‘4:11 These things command and teach.4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
2 Timothy 3:1-7, ‘3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Timothy2:1-2, ‘2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others Romans 7:11-25, ‘7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
1 John 3:8-10, ‘ 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Many people want to obey God and live a holy life. But the nature and power of sin, living in them is stronger than their will power. So they end up disobeying God and sinning always. They are always being controlled by Satan and and are servant of Satan because of the sin they commit.
You cannot serve 2 masters. You are eighther serving God by living a holy life. Or you are the Servant of Satan by committing sin and be wicked.
If you don’t accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour and obey Him, you are counted as a wicked person, who belong to Satan. No matter how morally good, or religious you seem to be. You are either for God, serving JESUS or you are for Satan on your way to hell fire , where Satan, Demons and all his servants lives after death.
I encourage you to give your life to Jesus today, and He will change your life and help you to live a holy life. This starts with Prayer.
PRAYER:
Father in Jesus name, i realise myself as a sinner, who needs your help. I have no power of my own over sin and Satan. Pease, forgive me all my sins and wickedness, watch me with the blood of Jesus. Please, write my name in the book of Life and give me the Power to go and sin no more, in Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
1) Read your Bible always.2) Pray in Jesus name always.3) Keep away from friends who will influence you to go and sin.4) Be determined to live a holy life no matter the oppositions.5) Continue with us in this Blog.
