Jesus encourages us to ask Him what we want- money, good health, good idea that will get us out of trouble, solution to a particular problem, long life, children, prosperity, protection, food, shelter, peace, joy, eternal life, good friends, helpers, security, etc.
Jesus said, whatever we ask God in prayer, we will receive. We have to ask in faith. That is, we believe that, God can and will answer us. You have to develop, a thick skin, that, no one can discourage me, i have no other person or place to go to, to get solution to my needs and problems. Oh God! I wait on you. You must answer me. As you pray, believe and patiently wait on God.
Suddenly, God will appear and bring the solution, no matter how difficult the problem seems.

Sin in our lives usually hinders our prayer from penetrating, getting to God. Sins forms barriers between us and God. It hinders God from hearing us. So let us do away, let us stop sinning, sin is Satan’s property /servant. It has nothing to give us except- sorrow, sadness, sickness, la k of peace, death,etc in fact everything evil.

So please, forsake sin, so that our prayers can be answer, and so that we can get the FREE GOOD GIFT FROM GOD.
PRAYER:
Oh God, i love you. I have many needs in my life that needs your attention and solution. Please, forgive me all the sins in my life, that has being hindering me from having answer to my prayers, (mention those sins to God). Oh God , show me your mercy, forgive and wash my sins away with the blood of Jesus, and give me the Power to go and sin no more, in Jesus name i pray. Amen.
Now tell God those things you want God to do for you. Continue to pray about it, in the morning ,as you wake up. In the night before you sleep, until you get your answer.
